Morocco Aims for Dominant Win Against Lesotho in Final AFCON Qualifier

The Moroccan national football team is preparing to play its last match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho, on Monday at the Oujda stadium.
Despite Lesotho’s elimination, Walid Regragui, the coach of the Atlas Lions, is taking this match very seriously. "Victory must be accompanied by performance," he said, concerned to maintain the level of play that has made the team’s reputation since he took office.
The national coach recalled the difficulty of the first leg and the importance of "ending this FIFA window with a victory in front of our audience." Aware of the supporters’ expectations, he wants to offer them a convincing show to strengthen their confidence.
Regragui also mentioned the management of the squad, acknowledging the difficulty of giving playing time to all the players. "We will give a chance to those who have not yet played and to elements that I wish to discover," he promised.
This match is therefore an opportunity for the Atlas Lions to continue on their momentum after their big win against Gabon (5-1) and to confirm their status as a great African team. At the same time, it will also allow them to fine-tune their preparations for the 2025 CAN that Morocco will host. Finally, the supporters are expecting a show and goals, the perfect match!
