Morocco Aims to Boost Olive Oil Exports to UK Market, Commissions Study

In order to boost its exports to the United Kingdom, the Agricultural Development Agency (ADA) wants to carry out a market study on bottled olive oil.
This study has been entrusted to the Moroccan company Cadinov and will consist of examining the regulatory, health, commercial, normative, customs and logistical issues for a possible commercialization of Moroccan olive oil in England, according to the sources cited by Maghreb-Intelligence.
Amounting to 324,000 dirhams, this study will also identify the main operators and players in the market and characterize the profile of consumers of these oils in this partner country.
According to the recent data of the sector, Morocco will produce this season 140,000 tons and will be ranked 5th producer in the world.
