Morocco Advances New Policy Framework for Expatriate Citizens

The process for the realization of a new model dedicated to Moroccans living abroad continues. On Tuesday, the various thematic committees submitted their first proposals during a meeting held in Rabat and chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita.
This was the second meeting of the thematic commission after the royal speech of August 20, 2022, on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People, reports the MAP, specifying that during this meeting, the five thematic committees under the technical commission presented their proposals as well as recommendations.
This step made it possible to present preliminary recommendations and establish a roadmap so that the final version of all the proposals made is ready by the end of January, said the president of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), Driss El Yazami, recalling that the meeting of the ministerial commission will be held in February, chaired by the Head of Government.
For the record, the five thematic committees are dedicated to the rehabilitation and modernization of the institutional framework, the promotion of investments by Moroccans living abroad in the Kingdom, cultural, religious and educational supervision, the promotion of administrative services and the rights of Moroccans living abroad and the mobilization of Moroccan skills abroad.
