Morocco to Adjust Clocks for Ramadan: Time Change Begins May 5

As every Ramadan month, Morocco will return to GMT time from May 5 to June 8 next, the Ministry of Public Service Reform and Administration has just announced.
On May 5 in Morocco, you will have to turn your watch back 60 minutes from 3am. At 3am it will therefore be 2am. Similarly, on June 8, the day after the end of Ramadan, the time will be advanced by 60 minutes from 2am.
This measure comes into effect in application of Article 2 of Decree No. 2.18.855 published on 16 Safar 1440 (October 26, 2018), relating to legal time, the ministry said in a statement.
Last October, the Council of Government had decided to maintain summer time throughout the year and to end the changes during Ramadan, in winter and just before summer. It seems that it has gone back on one of its decisions.
The decree published just after the Council stipulated that "the addition of 60 minutes to the legal time of the Kingdom (...) in order to maintain the current summer time in order to avoid the changes made repeatedly during the year and their repercussions at several levels".
