Morocco to Address Concerns of Diaspora as Summer Return Approaches

The issue of Moroccans living abroad will be addressed soon by the Head of Government, Saad-Eddine El Othmani. He will try to respond to several grievances as Morocco prepares to welcome hundreds of thousands of Moroccans living abroad this summer.
Indeed, next Monday, the Head of the Executive will have to detail the Government’s vision and, above all, the answers to questions affecting the Moroccan community living abroad. It will notably be a question of the problems that Moroccans living abroad encounter in certain consulates and the difficulties they face in most public administrations.
In addition, the Head of Government will be asked to address issues related to the decentralization of the administration. According to the Delegate Minister in charge of the Civil Service, Mohamed Benabdelkader, "Morocco has taken a decisive step towards consolidating advanced regionalization and the establishment of a deconcentrated, responsible and decision-making administration, effective and efficient, close to the concerns of citizens and institutional and economic operators".
