Moroccan Prime Minister to Face Parliament on Anti-Corruption Efforts

The head of the Executive, Saâdeddine El Othmani, was expected, next Tuesday, January 21, in Parliament to explain the government’s efforts in the effective fight against corruption.
This questioning of the Head of Government is in accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution. It is planned as part of the monthly session dedicated to the general policy of the State. Saâdeddine El Othmani must answer a series of questions from parliamentary advisers on the corruption that undermines the socio-economic life of the country, despite the efforts of the Executive.
During this session, the Head of Government was also questioned about the promotion of women’s rights, while the PJD, an Islamist party, has been in power for 9 years.
