Moroccan Woman Killed Near Bulgarian Border in Tragic Migration Attempt

Very little information has emerged about the case of this 20-year-old Moroccan woman, whose name is said to be Hanane Bahloul. But many social media posts, citing statements from the Bulgarian police, claim that the young Moroccan woman was stabbed with a knife.

Like many Moroccans, Hanane had left Morocco via Turkey in an attempt to cross part of Eastern Europe before reaching a European Union country. Unfortunately, she was killed before reaching her goal.
