Moroccan Woman Leaves ICU After Marbella Nightclub Shooting, Suspect Still at Large

Seriously injured by gunfire during the shooting that occurred in the early morning of Monday in a nightclub in Marbella (Malaga), the Moroccan woman left the intensive care unit on Thursday.
Aged 32, the woman, injured in the abdomen and pelvic area, underwent surgery at the Costa del Sol hospital. She finally left the intensive care unit after four days, health sources in Malaga Hoy reported.
A second seriously injured person, an Irishman, had also been admitted to intensive care. He is recovering gradually. He was placed in custody, since, according to the investigators, he would be the friend of the young man that the police are actively searching for and who stabbed the Moroccan-Dutch man, the alleged perpetrator of the shooting.
Two other people, aged 18 and 36, were injured in this shooting. Their injuries being minor, they received appropriate care and have already returned home. The same goes for the alleged perpetrator of the shooting who was injured by a knife to the forehead, neck, back and one eye.
According to investigators, the nightclub security guards had expelled a man who managed to return inside the establishment a few moments later to stab the young man of Moroccan origin who drew a firearm and started shooting. The latter and a friend were taken into custody. They are accused of attempted murder, assault and illegal possession of weapons.
