Dutch-Moroccan Man Jailed for Marbella Nightclub Shooting, Four Injured

The Marbella investigating court has ordered the provisional detention without bail of the Dutch national of Moroccan origin and his friend, suspected perpetrators of the shooting that occurred in the early morning of Monday in a nightclub in Marbella (Malaga).
The two suspects are under investigation for attempted homicide, injuries and illegal possession of weapons. The Dutch national of Moroccan origin is arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the shooting, and his friend, as an accomplice, according to judicial sources at Malaga Hoy.
The events took place in the early morning of Monday when a fight in a nightclub ended in a shooting. In total, four people were shot and taken to the Costa del Sol hospital. A 32-year-old Irishman injured in the chest and a 32-year-old woman injured in the abdomen are still in intensive care at the hospital. The two other injured, aged 18 and 36, have already returned home.
The main suspect was injured with a bladed weapon, in the neck, face and back. The police are continuing the investigation and are looking for the alleged perpetrator of the assault and injuries on the Dutch national of Moroccan origin.
