Moroccan Woman in Coma After Illegal Botox Procedure in Madrid; Fake Doctors Arrested

In Madrid, a 35-year-old Moroccan woman is in a coma after undergoing cosmetic surgery on her buttocks. A couple of fake Brazilian doctors, responsible for this medical error, have been arrested.
The two suspects, aged 45 and 40, are accused of endangering the health of a Moroccan woman after subjecting her to a botox injection in the buttocks for a sum of 3,500 euros, reports El Mundo, specifying that the victim is currently in a coma.
According to the preliminary investigations, the Moroccan woman had arrived in Madrid from Germany to undergo the procedure. The operation took place in a fake clinic located in a tourist apartment in Madrid. The victim’s condition suddenly worsened a few hours after the injections. Taken to a Madrid hospital, the Moroccan woman fell into a coma.
The police investigations led to the arrest of the couple of fake doctors on December 8th. The two defendants did not have a medical degree and were planning to travel abroad. They were arrested and are being prosecuted for fraud, document forgery, illegal practice of a profession regulated by law and injury, the same source points out.
