Moroccan Woman and Four Lovers Face Trial for Adultery and Child Endangerment

The trial of a married woman and her lovers will open at the court of first instance of Youssoufia on December 5. They are all being prosecuted in custody for "adultery, night-time home invasion and setting a bad example for children."
It all started with a complaint filed by a man against his wife and her four lovers, three of whom are married. The husband had been informed by neighbors of his wife’s adultery and had set a trap for her. She took advantage of her husband’s absence, who has a night job, to receive her lovers at the marital home, in the presence of the couple’s two children, reports the Arabic-language daily Assabah.
The trap worked. The gendarmerie elements of Chemaia arrested the accused and her lovers. After being placed in custody and brought before the prosecutor of the king at the court of first instance, they are being prosecuted in custody for "adultery, night-time home invasion and setting a bad example for children."
