Marrakech: a Moroccan woman in prison for adultery, her Spanish lover released

The woman was arrested following a complaint from her husband who accused her of having a relationship with a Spaniard. The accused, who took advantage of her husband’s absence to meet her lover in an apartment, was caught in the act of adultery.

Arrested at the same time as the woman, the Spanish national was released after paying a bail of 5,000 dirhams. He was indicted for complicity in adultery.
