Moroccan Veteran Attaf Clinches Bronze in Jakarta Judo Championship

Moroccan judoka, Attaf Mohsin, won the bronze medal in the under 100 kg category on Sunday in Jakarta, at the International Judo Championship held in Jakarta.
Although the 43-year-old Moroccan champion was defeated in the semi-finals, he had the merit of having beaten his Indonesian opponent by "waza-ari". According to the Map, it was at the end of the classification fight that Mohsin Attaf managed to take the third place on the podium by eliminating his opponent, a Japanese judoka.
In a statement to the press, Attaf Mohsin said he was happy to have defended the Moroccan flag. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the champion had earlier in November won the silver medal at the "Copa da Malaysia" and a second bronze medal in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. For him, the pride of defending the colors of Morocco inhabits him and will never leave him, regardless of his geographical position.
