Moroccan Truck Driver Killed in Horrific Bridge Collision Near Almeria, Spain

A 37-year-old Moroccan man died on Monday and another, whose identity is unknown for now, was seriously injured following a collision between two trucks on the A7 motorway, near Almeria.
This tragedy occurred precisely on a bridge overlooking the Almanzora river at kilometer point 683 near Huércal Overa, in the Almeria region, reports the news agency Europa Press, which specifies that one of the trucks was in a tunnel, apparently broken down while its driver was outside inspecting it.
It was at this moment, according to the initial findings of the investigation, that another truck loaded with plaster collided with the rear of the truck, hitting the Moroccan. He will be ejected from the bridge at an altitude of at least 30 meters, according to the firefighters. He died. Seriously injured, the other truck driver was ejected from the cab, but remained suspended thanks to his seatbelt. He owes his life to the rapid arrival of the emergency services.
