Moroccan Truck Driver Hailed as Hero After Rescuing Girls from Burning Car on Spanish Highway
Moad Al-Hashi, a Moroccan truck driver, and his friend Youssef Al-Sani saved a girl and her two friends from the fire in their car on the A-7 highway. The girl’s mother launched an announcement on social networks to find Moad and thank him in person.
In a video that went viral on social media, the girl’s mother, Ana Bejerano, asked Internet users for help to find Moad Al-Hashi who saved her daughter and her two friends from the fire in their car on the A-7, in order to thank him in person for his gesture.
Two days after this publication, the woman managed to find him. "My daughter told me that you tried to put out the fire, you took things out of the car when you didn’t have to... You are an angel," Ana Bejerano told Moad, the Moroccan truck driver from Tangier and member of the Al-Boughaz Drivers Association.
Thus, Ana was able to thank Moad Al-Hashi in person. "My daughter will be 19 on Sunday thanks to him," added the mother of one of the two friends. The Moroccan has become a hero after helping these three young women.
