Moroccan TikToker Sparks Ramadan Controversy with Drum Video

A Moroccan tiktoker faced strong criticism after saying "Get up my love to do the suhoor" in a short video in which she is seen playing the drum to announce the last meal before the start of the Ramadan fast.
The young woman was severely criticized by Internet users in Tangier for these remarks deemed inappropriate. To end the controversy, the young woman had to clarify her thoughts, assuring that she had no intention of harming or offending. The tiktoker wished a "blessed Ramadan" to those who attack her publications at the beginning of the holy month: "May Allah guide them... You don’t have to misunderstand, because I have a famous phrase that I always say: ’My brothers, I say it with a pure heart and sincerely’."
"I’m tired of negative comments. It’s neither my style nor my intention. I do my best, respecting the holy month of Ramadan. My lifestyle and my videos are always respectful. I’m not the kind to make vulgar or inappropriate videos. I try to show the best of myself. If one day someone asks me to greet him, I will do it with pleasure," she clarified.
And to insist: "During this month, my priority is to follow the teachings of Islam and take care of my family. I don’t want my words or actions to be misinterpreted. What I want above all is to convey a positive and sincere message. People must understand that during Ramadan, we all focus on spiritual well-being. I am very grateful to all those who support me and, as always, I welcome them with an open heart."
