Moroccan TikTok Star Dies After Battle with Cancer

The famous TikToker, who was transferred to France to receive treatment for advanced cancer after the personal intervention of King Mohammed VI, has passed away.
"Hicham has returned to the mercy of God." These are the words used by the influencer Leila Chmam, known as "The Cancer Warrior", to announce through her Instagram stories the death of the famous Moroccan TikToker Hicham Sedikki, widely recognized as a member of the duo "Hicham and Khadija". He had been suffering from cancer since 2021.
Recently, Khadija Sedikki had shared emotional news about her husband’s critical health condition. In an Instagram post, she revealed that he was experiencing severe breathing difficulties and a significant lack of oxygen. However, she had remained hopeful until the end, saluting her husband’s resilience and urging her faithful followers to pray for his recovery. Without failing to remind everyone that life and death are ultimately in God’s hands.
In July, King Mohammed VI had responded to the distress call that Hicham had launched through his wife’s Instagram account. The sovereign had intervened and Khadija’s husband had been transferred to France. In a video posted on her Instagram account, Khadija had announced that her husband had been discharged from the Cheikh Khalifa Hospital in Casablanca, where he had been receiving care for months. He had then been transported by ambulance to the Mohammed V airport, where she accompanied him by private jet to France.
