Moroccan King Grants Cancer Patient’s Plea for Overseas Treatment

Thanks to King Mohammed VI, the husband of a Moroccan influencer, who has been suffering from cancer since 2021, will be able to receive treatment abroad.
King Mohammed VI has responded to the distress call that Hicham, husband of influencer Khadija Assadiki, launched via his wife’s Instagram account ten days ago. He was asking the sovereign to help him be treated abroad. "The doctors at the hospital where he is currently, as well as the doctors at other hospitals in the kingdom, have found that the necessary treatment is not available in Morocco and that he must go abroad," Hicham, who has been ill since 2021, said.
It was his wife who announced the good news on social media. "I am in front of the hospital and I have good news to announce. I want to share with you the good news that I have received thanks to the Almighty," said influencer Khadija Assadiki in a video on her Instagram account. And to add: "May God bless our king, he has answered our prayer. I will no longer shed tears, it is a grace of God. He will pay for Hicham’s treatment outside Morocco."
