Search Intensifies for Missing 14-Year-Old Girl in Moroccan City of Mohammedia

In Mohammedia, a family is asking residents for help in finding their 14-year-old daughter who has not given any sign of life since leaving her home on September 9.
Meriem Zouhri was last seen leaving her parents’ home to run an errand around 10 p.m. on September 9. She did not take any personal belongings, ruling out the hypothesis of a runaway. "Everything was normal at home; she had no reason to run away," her older sister Imane told Morocco World News. She hinted that her family was at a loss, as they did not know if Meriem had been kidnapped or if something else had happened.
The girl’s family reported her disappearance to the police. An investigation has been opened. So far, no leads have been found and the family is still waiting for news of Meriem. Currently, the family is actively searching for her throughout the city of Mohammedia. It has launched an appeal for help to find her. Responding to this call for help, many people have taken to social media. They have shared information and urged anyone with potential information to come forward.
Imane invites anyone who has seen Meriem or has information that could help the investigation to contact the local authorities or the family at +212 775-950847.
