Moroccan Teen Arrested After Hitting Officer with Stolen Car in Quimper, France

A 19-year-old Moroccan escaped from the psychiatric center where he is a resident, at the wheel of a stolen car. In his race, he hit a police officer. The accident occurred on Wednesday around 9 p.m. in Quimper in Finistère.
The police officer hit was trying to set up a roadblock to stop the vehicle. But the driver rammed straight into the police officer. He was seriously injured in the shoulder and legs, to the point of losing consciousness for about ten minutes.
The driver, who is known to the police, fled. He will be arrested a few hours later and placed in custody.
The police officer went home after receiving appropriate care at the hospital.
