Moroccan team: Hakim Ziyech threatened?

Brahim Díaz, the Spanish-Moroccan striker of Real Madrid, has recently abandoned Spain and joined the den of the Atlas Lions, on the field. Will his arrival cast a shadow over his teammate Hakim Ziyech, the star of the Moroccan team playing in the Turkish championship?
Arrived in Morocco on Monday, Brahim Diaz is participating in the preparation camp of the Moroccan national team in anticipation of the two friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania, scheduled for March 22 and 26 respectively at the Grand Stade d’Agadir. Walid Regragui is thinking about the position in which the Spanish-Moroccan striker of Real Madrid will play. If he positions him on the right wing (his position at Real Madrid), he will run into the presence of Hakim Ziyech, one of the pillars of the Moroccan team in recent years. According to a source within the Moroccan team, the position of the Galatasaray star will not be affected by Diaz’s arrival. On the contrary, he will remain the first star of the team.
Top scorer of the current generation of Atlas Lions with a total of 21 goals, Ziyech is considered an inspiring star with a special place within the group, which Diaz understands well, adds the same source. The former Ajax star and Achraf Hakimi will also have an important role to play in the integration of the 24-year-old player. He will benefit from their long experience.
Ziyech arrived in Morocco on the same plane as his mother and his teammate Nayef Aguerd, defender of West Ham. They are taking part in the preparation camp of the Moroccan national team in anticipation of the two friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania. Ziyech’s mother played an important role in his choice to defend the colors of Morocco. She made sure to be present with him during the March training camps for the celebration of his birthday, March 19, at the Mohammed VI complex with his teammates. Ziyech celebrated his 31st birthday last Tuesday.
The Galatasaray star should wear the captain’s armband of the team during the next two matches due to the absence of Romain Saiss. The latter is among the players who were not called up by the national coach, Walid Regragui.
