The Atlas Lions give a surprise to Hakim Ziyech

Hakim Ziyech’s teammates offered him a cake for his 31st birthday. This is not the first birthday cake the Moroccan international has received for this occasion, but this one is special. It is a custom-made cake in his image. In a video posted on social media, we see the former Ajax star surrounded by his teammates who applaud. On this occasion, Ziyech expressed his gratitude to his colleagues.

Ziyech arrived in Morocco on the same plane as his mother and his teammate Nayef Aguerd, defender of West Ham. They are taking part in the Moroccan national team’s training camp in preparation for the two friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania. The mother of the former Chelsea attacking midfielder played an important role in his choice to defend the colors of Morocco. She made sure to be present with him during the March camps for the celebration of his birthday, on March 19, at the Mohammed VI complex with his teammates.

Ziyech should wear the captain’s armband for the next two matches due to the absence of Romain Saiss, who was not called up by national coach Walid Regragui.
