Moroccan Taxi Driver Returns Lost Bag Containing $50,000 in Agadir

A commendable gesture. A taxi driver operating in the Agadir region recently found a bag containing nearly 500,000 dirhams (50,000 euros) which he then returned to its owner.
As he himself recounts in a video broadcast by Al3omk, while he was in his car, he noticed a small bag on a sidewalk. Thinking it was a child’s, he initially ignored it before turning back. "I looked inside the bag and realized there were bundles of banknotes as well as identity documents," he says.
Renting his taxi, he calls his boss whom he sees again that evening. "He told me I had two options: to return it or keep it. I didn’t think and told myself I didn’t want to live in Haram."
They then contact the owner and after a few questions, they return it to him.
