Moroccan Surf Village Taghazout Named Among World’s Top 35 Travel Destinations for 2022

The village of Taghazout is ranked among the "35 incredible places to discover in 2022 and beyond", once again proving that Morocco is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
Eager to travel in 2022? National Geographic Traveller invites you to visit the village of Taghazout, often presented, along with Dakhla, as the "Moroccan capital of surfing". It is indeed included in the select list of the 35 incredible places in the world in 2022 and beyond.
In its latest ranking, the magazine stated that the village "is popular with European adventurers and surfers and is now very much in the spotlight (it is home to a Hyatt Place resort and the luxurious Fairmont Taghazout Bay opened its doors in July 2021), but it retains its relaxed and local charm".
According to the calendar, the surfing season runs from October to April, during which a northwest swell creates quality waves at the reef, point breaks and beach breaks worthy of the most beautiful postcards, ideal even for beginners, the magazine specifies.
