Marrakech Ranks 8th in Time Magazine’s Top 10 African Destinations for 2022

Marrakech is among the 10 best places to visit in Africa in 2022. Cairo is also in this ranking.
Marrakech ranks 8th behind the Okavango Delta, Botswana (9th) and ahead of Lake Kivu, Rwanda (7th) in the ranking of the 10 beautiful places to visit in Africa in 2022, established by the magazine Time. The ochre city owes this place to its souks (markets) and the Semmarine souk. There you can find carpets, leather goods, silverware and dishes of all shapes and sizes. In Marrakech, every visitor can participate in activities such as camel rides, visits to the Jewish cemetery, visits to the markets, etc.
Accra (Ghana) tops this top 10, followed by Benguerra Island, Mozambique (2nd), Cairo, Egypt (3rd), Chimanimani National Park, Mozambique (4th), Kruger National Park, South Africa (5th) and KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (6th). Sao Vicente, Cape Verde closes the podium.
