Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri Leads La Liga Scoring Race, Sparks Sevilla’s Resurgence

Youssef En-Nesyri is one of the key players for Sevilla who are fighting to get the club out of the bad patch it is going through. The Moroccan international is the architect of Sevilla’s victory in the last three league matches, which has allowed the club to move up in the standings. On Saturday, he scored a brace against Elche, giving his team the victory, reports Sevilla FC.

Before the World Cup in Qatar, the Moroccan striker was in very poor form and was unable to score goals. In all competitions, he had only scored five goals in 658 minutes played, or one goal every 329 minutes. But after the World Cup with Morocco where he was a starter and scored decisive goals like the one against Portugal that qualified his team for the semi-finals, En-Nesyri has regained confidence in Sevilla.
