Moroccan Striker En-Nesyri Continues Europa League Heroics, Scores Against Juventus

Without Youssef En-Nesyri in attack, Sevilla FC’s triumphant run in the Europa League would not have been possible. After his participation in the World Cup, the Moroccan striker has regained his early-season form at Seville, and this was again evident yesterday with the goal against Juventus.

En-Nesyri has found the net three times in Seville’s last three European matches, and he was even the origin of a goal against Manchester United at Old Trafford, although it was ultimately Maguire who scored the action. Subsequently, En-Nesyri took matters into his own hands by scoring two goals, thus propelling his team to the semi-finals.

In yesterday’s match against Juventus of Turin, the outcome of the tie could have been almost sealed by a goal from the Moroccan, if only the Juventus players had not managed to equalize in the final moments of the match.

It was with a magnificent right-footed shot that En-Nesyri was able to capitalize on a pass from Ocampos, thus concluding a superb collective action initiated by a pass from Oliver Torres.

This season, the Moroccan international has scored a total of 17 goals, only two of which were before his departure for the World Cup, where he made history with the Moroccan team, becoming the first African selection to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup, largely thanks to his prowess in front of goal, including his goal against Portugal in the quarter-finals. En-Nesyri is in great form, and the transformation operated by Seville FC can be largely attributed to him.
