Moroccan Striker Munir El Haddadi Eyes National Team Return After Strong Las Palmas Performance

After starting his international career with Morocco and participating in the 2021 CAN, Munir El Haddadi disappeared from the radar before the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The Moroccan striker, who has been playing for UD Las Palmas since last year, dreams of rejoining the den of the Atlas Lions.
El Haddadi cherishes a dream, that of returning to the Moroccan national team. "I would really like to come back to the national team. I watch all the national team matches and I hope they can win the CAN. It would make me very happy," said the 28-year-old striker during an online press conference organized by Liga.
After his promising debut at FC Barcelona, Munir El Haddadi is now one of the key players of Las Palmas. The Canarian club, ranked ninth in Liga, is counting on the Moroccan international to deliver performances this season. "It’s true that experience counts. But in the end, the values are the same. So I advise my teammates to enjoy, work, take care of themselves and be ready. All of this will be rewarded in due time. I try to help both on the field and off the field," he added.
