Moroccan Stars Shine: Rahimi and Amrabat Lead Clubs to Major Trophy Wins
This season, several Moroccan players have confirmed their great form and helped their clubs to victory, managing to win championships.
Sofiane Rahimi contributed to Al Ain’s victory over Japan’s Yokohama F. Marinos (5-1) in the final of the Asian Champions League, winning this title. The Moroccan international scored 13 goals this season and was named best player and top scorer of the tournament. For his part, Sofiane Amrabat also won the FA Cup with Manchester United, who beat Manchester City 2-1. The Atlas Lion delivered a remarkable performance in this match.
With Bayer Leverkusen, Amine Adli won the German Cup after winning the final against Kaiserslautern by the narrowest of margins.
