Moroccan Stars En-Nesyri and Mazraoui Named in Top 100 World Cup Players to Watch

Moroccan internationals Youssef En-Nesyri and Noussair Mazraoui are on the list of the 100 players to watch for player agents during the 2022 World Cup. This emerges from the ranking of a famous sports news site.
With its "Radar" concept launched during Euro 2020, The Athletic has established for player agents the list of the 100 players to watch during the World Cup. Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui, who joined Bayern Munich’s defense last summer from Ajax Amsterdam, and his compatriot Youssef En-Nesyri, striker for Sevilla FC, are on this list.
"Bayern Munich followed 804 right-backs in the world before deciding to recruit Noussair Mazraoui," The Athletic reports. The Moroccan impresses in particular by his ability to project himself in attack and create the numerical superiority. "What’s interesting is that he has more of a target man profile than a provider of balls," the site describes. "He can still improve his finishing, but defensively, Mazraoui tackles very well."
Youssef En-Nesyri is at his best "when he is in a position to assert his physique on opposing defenses, whether with or without the ball," the platform analyzes. "His first season at the Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium was a springboard in his career with 24 goals scored in all competitions." "A regular member of the Moroccan national team," he is a pure finisher, but who does not participate much in the construction of the game for his team (a score of 42/99 in collective participation, with only 23.5 balls touched per 90 minutes on average).
