Moroccan TV Star Claims Industry Exclusion, Sparks Debate on Actor Treatment

Moroccan actor Mohamed Bahzad, who played Khamis in the series Hdidan, denounces the marginalization he has been experiencing for several years. He claims to only participate in charitable activities that do not bring him any income.
In a statement to the newspaper Al3omk, Mohamed Bahzad says he is a victim of exclusion from national television productions, asserting that he does not know the reasons for this situation. Bahzad continued by stating that Moroccan actors are not responsible for their repeated presence on the small screen.
The Moroccan actor also denounced the "jealousy" shown by some colleagues whom he considered friends and who worked to prevent him from participating in certain artistic events. Mohamed Bahzad is expected to return to screens on May 7 with the film "Le Buzz", directed by Dimna Bounaylat.
The film tells "the story of a poor, ambitious young girl with an enchanting voice, but whom luck has not smiled upon. She is then forced to work with the director of the neighborhood music institute, who will become her artistic agent and accompany her to sing at weddings of modest families," details the publication.
"By chance, the young girl will meet a well-known influencer and content creator on social media, who will exploit her voice for money. But the truth will come out at the end of the film, and the singer will finally achieve the desired fame after a tough ordeal."
