Algerian TV Suspends Ramadan Series After Moroccan Plagiarism Allegations

In Algeria, the broadcast of the series "Boussendouk" has been suspended after the channel Al Fadjer TV discovered that it had been plagiarized from two Moroccan series.
The management of the channel Al Fadjer TV decided to suspend this series broadcast since the beginning of Ramadan, as it was "copied not from one, but from two Moroccan series: Hdidane, and Remana and Bertal," reports Alyaoum24. The television channel also apologized to the Moroccans.
Before this decision was made, Moroccan Internet users had already noted striking similarities between the Boussendouk series and the two Moroccan series. The trailer for this series directed by Fatima Ali Boubekdi was then widely broadcast. They then denounced the plagiarism of "Hdidan". Clothes, sets, characters, dialogues, accent... Everything was copied.
