Moroccan Sports Channel Arriyadia Halts Studio Production After COVID-19 Case

The management of Arriyadia, the sports channel in Morocco, was forced to close its recording studios, following the discovery of a case of Covid-19 contamination among the staff.
In a statement sent electronically to all employees, the channel’s management prohibits any filming in the channel’s studios. Only the transmission of football matches from the 1st and 2nd divisions will be maintained.
The famous post-match debates, which bring together presenters and experts, will also be suspended, the statement adds, specifying that the latter can no longer be invited to the set.
The technicians, journalists and presenters of Arriyadia who participated in the debate have also been invited by the channel’s management to take a Covid-19 test.
