Moroccan-Spanish Rapper Morad to Discuss Fame, Racism on Popular TV Show

Chosen by the viewers, the Spanish rapper of Moroccan origin, Morad, will be the guest tonight of the famous show "Lo de Évole", on the la Sexta channel. He will talk about racism, his sudden and unexpected success, his mother and her legal troubles.
Jordi Évole made the trip from L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) to interview Morad, a 22-year-old Spaniard of Moroccan origin, who became known for his songs only three years ago. Without the support of any record label and without major media or advertising campaigns, he has managed to make a name for himself and gain recognition in the Spanish artistic world.

Today, Morad’s songs are among the most listened to on the main digital download platforms. The young rap star records millions of views on YouTube. In his songs, he talks about his journey, his family, immigration, racism, discrimination and his legal troubles.
