Moroccan-Spanish Man Surrenders After Killing Wife on Barcelona Farm

It is apparently a premeditated homicide, but the motives remain mysterious to date. A Spanish national of Moroccan origin committed a cold-blooded murder, before turning himself in to the police station.
The victim is none other than his wife, whose body was discovered by the police, bathed in a pool of blood, in the middle of their farm in Castellbisbal, in the Barcelona region. After committing his crime, the individual surrendered to the police.
Originally from Imzourren, in the Al Hoceima region, the aggressor and his wife, aged 52 and 41 respectively, were going through difficult times and their relationship had been very tense for a few years, according to relatives of the family to the Spanish media.
Pending the results of the autopsy, an investigation has been opened by the Brigade of the Mossos d’Esquadra to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
Since the beginning of this year, more than 50 women have been killed in the Barcelona region by their husband or partner.
