Spanish Couple Arrested for Dating App Murder Scheme, Victim Buried Alive

The Spanish authorities have just arrested a Moroccan national and a Latin American woman for their alleged involvement in a premeditated murder case.
According to the newspaper ABC, the couple used to lure their victims through the dating site Badoo, before extorting their belongings and killing them.
A 54-year-old Spanish national, who was the subject of a search warrant, went missing on September 6, 2019 and was found buried in Pedrola, near Zaragoza, last week.
The autopsy results revealed surprising facts. The deceased had been the victim of physical assaults and savage violence. Worse, he had been buried alive when in reality he was in a coma after the assault.
While trying to retrace his itinerary, the police discovered that he had traveled to Pedrola to meet a young woman he had met on the Badoo site.
While the Venezuelan woman was luring her victims on the dating site, her Moroccan partner was in charge of stripping them of their belongings before assaulting them. Several belongings had been stolen, including at least two cars.
