Moroccan-Spanish Boxer Ayoub Zakari Kicks Off 2024 with Pivotal Match
The Spanish boxer of Moroccan origin, Ayoub Zakari, is fighting this Saturday during the first boxing event of the year for Team Solé in Badía del Vallés.
In a recent interview with Aebox, the boxer said that Mike Tyson is one of his references and Joel Barreras, his most serious potential opponent. In case of victory this Saturday, Zakari says he will dedicate it "to [his] technical staff, [his] coach, [his] family, and all those who support [him]".
Zakaria was recognized as the best revelation of 2022 in his category by Espabox. He started his professional career in July and ended the year with a prestigious fight in London in November, where he beat the undefeated Bilal Fawaz by unanimous decision of the jury. This Saturday, Zakaria will have to prove that he deserves the distinction awarded to him by Espabox and that he has the weapons to continue to evolve in the ring.
