Moroccan Kickboxing Legend Badr Hari Faces Alistair Overeem in Potential Final Bout

Moroccan kickboxing champion Badr Hari is stepping back into the ring, probably for the last time, this Saturday, October 8, against an opponent he has already faced twice in his career. It is the Dutch kickboxer Alistair Overeem.
At 37 years old, Badr Hari intends to retire on a high note. This is why he attaches great importance to the fight on Saturday, October 8. He is especially impatient to deliver perhaps his last round in the ring against an opponent for whom he has enormous respect. They faced each other in 2008 and 2009 and since then they have shown mutual respect. On Saturday, they meet for the decisive battle, the one that will allow them to be separated.
Badr Hari feels physically fit and is preparing as he should for the big day. "It’s a super match and I really can’t wait to see Alistair again after 13 years," said the Moroccan kickboxer. More than the fight, he appreciates the mutual respect between him and Alistair Overeem. "You can only have respect when you’ve been around for so long, when you’ve had to sacrifice so much and you’re still where you are now. That’s only worthy of respect," he said.
