Moroccan Soccer Star Sentenced to Prison for Assaulting Minors

The Montpellier criminal court sentenced Moroccan international Youssef El Arabi to one year in prison and a fine of 3,000 euros for his involvement in an assault on two minors.
The facts took place on June 24, 2017, the day of Eid al-Fitr. That day, Youssef El Arabi, two of his brothers, and their brother-in-law, would have beaten up two minors aged 13 and 16 who had thrown glass bottles on the terrace of a house where the family of the Moroccan international was celebrating the end of Ramadan, reports Midi Libre.
