Moroccan Soccer Star Nordin Amrabat Tests Positive for COVID-19 Upon Return to Saudi Club

Moroccan international Nordin Amrabat is back in Riyadh after spending most of his confinement in the Netherlands with his loved ones. He tested positive for coronavirus after undergoing an initial COVID-19 test at his Saudi club.
In a statement published on its website, the Saudi club revealed the serological status of the Moroccan player after taking the test as part of its policy to resume the championship.
According to the club, the Atlas Lion will be tested again since the player has not shown any symptoms before.
Pending the results of the 2nd coronavirus test and the resumption of the championship scheduled for August 4, several fans of the player have created a hashtag to show their support for the Atlas Lion.
For the record, several cases of contamination were recorded on Monday, July 2, among the players and technical staff of Ittihad de Tanger, and also of Casablanca.
