Moroccan Soccer Star Declines $120,000 TV Appearance with Rival Player

Moroccan international, Mohamed Chibi, playing for Pyramids FC in Egypt, refused a lucrative offer to appear on a famous TV show, alongside Al Ahly player Hussein El Shahat, who had insulted and assaulted him after a match.
Mohamed Chibi refused the sum of $120,000 to appear on the famous show hosted by Ramez Galal on the MBC Egypt channel, according to sources close to the player, who told the Egyptian media that the Atlas Lion declined the offer due to the participation in the same show of Al Ahly player Hussein El Shahat, who had insulted and assaulted him after a championship match last season. The Moroccan had filed a complaint against the Egyptian with the justice system.
Chibi had been approached by a member of the production team of Ramez Galal’s program to appear in an episode with Hussein El Shahat. But the Moroccan player categorically refused to participate in the show, which prompted the channel’s management to replace him with Akram Tawfik, another Al Ahly player.
