Nothing seems to stop the spiral of violence on football pitches in Morocco. Despite the efforts of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, acts of aggression have become frequent in recent years.
The sad misadventure of referee Oussama Talhaoui, who officiated the match between Wydad de Tiflet and Kawkab de Kenitra, adds to the gloomy statistics reported by the federation, reports the daily Assabah
The attackers violently struck the man in black, once they learned that their direct competitor for promotion, Wifak Bouznika, had managed to win his match. The three offending players and the club president were summoned by the disciplinary commission. The referee, for his part, ended the day in the hospital.
