Moroccan Soccer Fan Found Dead After Match, Sparking Investigation

A supporter of Raja de Casablanca was found dead in the village of Taourirt, after attending an RSB-Raja match.
Disappeared on Sunday, January 19, the young man, aged 21, has not given any sign of life since the match between Renaissance sportive de Berkane and Raja, at the municipal stadium.
For the time being, no information has leaked out about the circumstances of his death. The initial results of the investigation suggest that it could have been a fight that went wrong between supporters of the two camps. The Royal Gendarmerie, in collaboration with the judicial police, has mobilized to find the perpetrators.
The match last Sunday between the two clubs ended in a draw (2-2). At the end of this match, the Berkanis are one point behind the Wydad (28). As for the Greens, they are ranked fourth (21 points).
