Moroccan Singer Dounia Batma Expresses Regret on Instagram Amid Controversy

The latest story of the Moroccan artist, Dounia Batma, on Instagram has sparked mixed reactions. Several Internet users have questioned the real meaning of her message.
"I finally realize that life is a masked ball where I have participated with my face uncovered. I am really ashamed of myself," lamented the singer, who reproached herself for her excessive spontaneity.
Involved in the "Hamzamonbb" affair, the Arab Idol star had been the subject of strong criticism from Internet users.
To recall, Dounia Batma was sentenced to 8 months in prison and a fine of 10,000 dirhams, for "participation in fraudulent access to the data processing system and dissemination of images and statements of others without their consent, in order to harm or defame".
