Moroccan Runner Hicham Boufars Clinches Victory in Murcia Marathon

Moroccan athlete Hicham Boufars won the Murcia marathon this Sunday with a time of 2:15.35.

The Moroccan covered the 42 kilometers and crossed the finish line in first position with a time of 2:15.35, ahead of the Kenyan Dominick Kipkirui who finished second.

On the women’s side, María Mercedes Pila, of Ecuadorian origin, won with a time of 2:48.56, closely followed by Verónica Sánchez, second with a time of 2:50.32.
