Moroccan Royal Photographer Abruptly Shuts Down Social Media Amid Controversy
"The Mysterious Photographer of the King", as Jeune Afrique had named him, has just closed his social media accounts. After saying several things that do not bode well.
The administrator of King Mohammed VI’s page has, according to Assabah, closed his Instagram and Facebook accounts in a way that has surprised more than one. But there was a kind of notice. The latter had indeed warned that he would do so, a little before.
Soufiane el Bahri would have declared in a story: "My friends, dear family, I intend to close my accounts on Instagram and uninstall the application from my phone as soon as this story ends. I inform you of this so that you do not think, after the disappearance of my accounts, that it is a fact of Instagram".
Nothing too strange at first. Except that, a few days ago, another publication by El Bahri comes to make things surprisingly more curious. Even frightening. "It is difficult to live normally when threats hang over you at all times," are, according to Assabah, his words. In another publication, he would have even said: "My God, I have been affected by nuisance".
Let us recall that Soufiane el Bahri administers a famous, highly visited page where we find private photos of King Mohammed VI, far from all protocol.
