Instagram Scam Alert: Fake Doctors Target Young Women, Sparking Safety Campaign

Fake influencers are proliferating on the web, behind fictitious accounts, and are active in creating communities of followers (mostly fake ones), to create buzz and lure victims into their trap. And it’s not without danger... This story proves it!
On Instagram, individuals pose as "medical celebrities" and offer their advice and consultations, in order to attract a large number of followers.
According to Hespress, Farah Achbab, a young woman very active on Instagram, reacted to the message of a young girl, victim of sexual assault and blackmail by a fake doctor on Instagram, by launching the campaign "girls be careful". Its objective is to alert about the phenomenon of exploitation of young girls by alleged "medical celebrities".
The many messages received from young victims of exploitation on the network, following this initiative, allowed Achbab to unmask a fake gynecologist profile, which invited its followers to discuss their sexual problems, or even to send intimate photos.
"It is our duty to alert the girls and urge them not to trust everyone," said Farah Achbab. "Even young boys fall into the trap and become victims of blackmail and sexual exploitation on social networks."
