The Moroccan royal family sells two luxury properties in Paris
The royal family has begun selling several prestigious properties that belonged to Lalla Latifa, the mother of King Mohammed VI, who passed away in June 2024.
This large-scale real estate operation, carried out discreetly, concerns assets located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, one of the most select municipalities in western Paris, reports El Debate. The Sovereign and his brothers have entrusted the marketing of these exceptional properties to the specialized agency Engel & Völkers, thus marking a reorganization of the family’s private heritage.
The centerpiece of this succession is a townhouse of over 1,300 square meters, offered for an amount exceeding 20 million euros. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Jardin d’Acclimatation and the Bois de Boulogne, the residence has sixteen rooms spread over several levels, including a master suite occupying the entire top floor. The interior is distinguished by a classic luxury blending Arab-inspired coffered ceilings and geometric parquet floors, while the basement houses rare amenities such as an indoor pool, a hammam, a private nightclub, and a cold room for furs.
In addition to this exceptional property, a second residence of over 500 square meters, with a private garden and marble finishes, is also on the market for around 7.5 million euros. These places, which were long the Parisian refuge of the one nicknamed the "silent princess", are now the subject of post-succession asset management. Although no official statement has been published by Rabat, this decision is analyzed by experts as a planned transition of the family heritage.
