Moroccan Royal Family: Princess Lalla Soukaina Reportedly Divorces After 9 Years of Marriage

Princess Lalla Soukaina and Mehdi Regragui would have recently divorced, according to some media sources. They had married in 2014.
According to Alyaoum24, which is relaying information from the Ledesk website, the daughter of Lalla Meriem and Fouad Filali, namely Princess Lalla Soukaina, aged 33, would have divorced from Mehdi Regragui. The couple had twins in 2015.
This divorce would have been decided "by mutual agreement" and would have taken place in the greatest discretion. A bit like the divorce between King Mohammed VI and Lalla Salma, which was only announced by foreign media sources.
It should be noted that Mehdi Regragui is a businessman and his family has long been close to the palace. His grandfather, Fqih Regragui, was an advisor to King Hassan II and his other grandfather, Ahmed Fizazi, was a senior civil servant in the territorial administration in addition to having been a former wali of Casablanca.
