Moroccan Princess and Former Queen Spotted in Rare Public Outing at Marrakech’s Jemaa el Fna

Indeed, on April 1st (?), Lalla Khadija would have been seen at Jemaa el Fna, accompanied by her mother and some of her friends. They would even have walked without protocol, nevertheless escorted from afar by bodyguards.

The Info Site, the source of this information, gives the details of the outing: "they went to a traditional restaurant on the square for dinner. They had a dish of minced meat. Lalla Khadija and her mother then settled with a snail seller, to the delight of the many citizens and tourists present on the square. They warmly greeted the passers-by who expressed their great admiration for them".

The same source recalls that "this is not the first time that members of the royal family have gone to Marrakech to treat themselves and enjoy a crowd bath, as a bonus".
